As beautiful as our suites are – our nature around our Klosterhotel Ettal is also dreamlike. Here you can hike through the largest contiguous nature reserve in Germany and experience an intact animal world as well as protected plant species. We also have a lot to offer culturally: Our Benedictine monastery of Ettal, founded in 1330 by Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian, with its imposing basilica, stately rococo sacristy and imposing monastery library is always worth a visit.
