Room cleaning

As an environmentally conscious hotel, we want to reduce our ecological footprint
and promote sustainable practices.
Therefore, we have decided to forego the daily
To forego room cleaning in order to save water, energy and waste.

If you would like an interim cleaning, a short information at the reception.
You can order fresh towels at reception.
If you stay with us for longer, after 3 nights a automatic cleaning of your room.

Regionality

The originality of our hotel is also reflected in its regionality and careful use of resources:

In our kitchen we mainly use ingredients from the monastery's agriculture and gardening, game from our own monastery hunt and fish specialties from the surrounding lakes.
Our beers and other alcoholic beverages mainly come from the brewery and monastery liqueur factory.
Separating waste and avoiding plastic also helps to conserve resources and the environment.

Energy supply

We also pay attention to sustainable sources when it comes to the energy supply for the hotel and the wellness area:

80% of the heat requirement is provided by a wood chip heating system. This will be expanded further in the future so that it covers 100% of the requirement.
Our photovoltaic system also provides a green power supply.
6 charging stations for electric cars (for a fee) and bicycles (free of charge) are installed on the grounds of the monastery hotel and can be used with a charging card.
By autumn 2023, our electricity will be powered by renewable energy.
