From Munich, take the A95 motorway towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen, then at the end of the motorway continue on the B2 main road towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In Oberau, turn left onto the B23 towards Peiting. Upon arrival in the centre of Ettal, our 4**** Klosterhotel Ettal is situated on the left opposite the Ettal Abbey.

From Innsbruck/Mittenwald, take the B2 main road towards Munich until you reach Oberau. In Oberau, turn left onto the B23 towards Peiting, then Ettal. Our 4**** Klosterhotel Ettal is situated on the left opposite the Ettal Abbey in the centre of the village.

From Memmingen, take the A96 towards Munich and come off at the motorway exit for Landesberg am Lech-West. Then, take the 17 main road towards Schongau. Continue on the 472. Turn right at the exit onto main road 23 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Oberammergau. Continue on main road 23 towards Ettal. Our 4**** Klosterhotel Ettal is situated on the right opposite the Ettal Abbey in the village centre. Alternatively, you can take the A7 towards Füssen/main road 16 towards Steingaden/Lechbruck.

The train is an easy and relaxing way to start your holiday. The best option is to take the train to Oberau. From there, take the bus. The Klostergasthof-Ettal bus stop is just 1 minute’s walk from our 4**** Klosterhotel.

If arriving by plane, you can choose between Munich, Memmingen and Innsbruck airports. Munich and Memmingen airports are both around 1.5 hours away by car. Innsbruck Airport is around 1 hour by car from Ettal.
